Scammers are getting craftier, especially with new tech like AI. They’re creating fake emails and messages that look real to trick you into giving away personal info or money.

Common Scams to Be Aware Of:
Fake Emails or Messages (Phishing): You might get an email that seems to be from your bank or a friend, asking for sensitive info or prompting you to click on a link. Always double-check before responding.
Phone Call Scams (Vishing): Someone might call pretending to be from a trusted company, claiming there’s an issue with your account and asking for details. Hang up and call the company directly to verify.
Text Message Scams (Smishing): A text may urge you to click on a link or provide information. Don’t respond to unexpected texts from unknown numbers.
How to Protect Yourself:
Be Skeptical: If something feels off, it probably is.
Verify Requests: Contact the person or company directly using known contact info.
Use Strong Passwords: And change them regularly.
Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): This adds an extra layer of security.
Stay Updated: Keep your devices and software current to protect against known vulnerabilities.
