NEXT

You're nearly done for the appointment, but there's more to do. You know that you need more time, or someone needs more time to do the remaining steps.

 

The "next" decision is tricky. Some things can wait. Some can't. Here are some tools to help decide which path to take.

Examples of "can't wait"

- new system install

- restore from backup

off boarding 

- on-boarding (if starting soon)

Examples of "CAN wait"

​

- training

- added scope requests

- documentation

CAN'T WAIT

- Slack AM before 5pm to request options
 

- If you can't do it soon, ask for options for either

      a) another person or

      b) shift another appointment

CAN WAIT

- If you should do it, request it be added to calendar
 

- If it needs escalation to a C, use the "Ask ___" macro in Zendesk
